-He mostly keeps his wings covered under a leather trench coat. He also wears a rapier on his left hip. His eyes are also different but he covered them with either full eye lenses or sunglasses.
-If you look closly at certain areas of his body, you will find scars from his flogging and crucifixion. Specifically his hands, feet, and his scalp. His back is also a mess from the whip.
Strengths: Arik has a few mutatations. Aside from the ability of flight, Arik possesses the ability to remove a mutant’s power for a full 24 hour period. Since his recovery, he's also gained the ability to heal most ailments. This taxes his energy and he cannot raise the dead, for doing so would cost him his own life. He is also a good leader and a skilled tactician.
Weaknesses: Arik has a distrust of most humans given his history. He does not hate them however. He is very much on his own on Eden. He does not have his rebel fighters and he does not have a base of operations.
History: Arik was born normal and had a rather uneventful childhood. However, with the onset of puberty, his wings started to grow in. He did all he could to prevent this along with the tail. However, his parents caught him and decided that their son was special.
Arik continued on until one day he came home to find his house on fire and his family murdered. He fled to the village church to plead for his life. A young priest by the name of Angelico Moretti responded to the call and adopted Arik, saying it was his responsibility given to him from God to nurture this child. Angelico became Arik’s guardian in all legality.
Angelico was then called to the Vatican to begin as the Pope’s Camerlengo. Arik stayed in the Vatican until the Pop approached him with a dangerous undertaking. To free the persecuted mutants in Russia. Angelico protested but Arik accepted with almost frightening acceptance.
He soon gathered a small group of rebels and took it upon themselves to fight against the Russian Government. One such was Ivanov Afonik, an Umbrakinetic who could also control fears. It was Ivanov who saved Arik from a most untimely death by Crucifixion. Ivanov then rushed Arik back to the Vatican for care.
Ivanov would soon betray Arik to return to Russia. But Ivanov sought to take control of his Motherland and instill what he had interpreted as Arik’s wishes.
Arik spent his recovery time studying Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and gathering allies. He gathered the Americans, the British, and the Swiss. From the Americans came John Patterson and Matthew Crowley, Arik’s newest soldiers.
It was to be the night before Arik formally met with the US President that Eden would whisk him away in his sleep.
Personality: Arik is very calculating. He’s also very quiet, not liking to speak unless absolutely necessary. He has utterly devoted himself to his cause. He’s also resigned himself to his fate if one day he should fall in battle. he had planned for Ivanov to lead but circumstances has led him choosing his new second Rafe Eldemar.
