IC Stuff:
Name: Thor Odinson
Alias/Nickname: The Thunderer, God of Thunder, Goldilocks/ Point Break ( not names he prefers )
Age: N/A
Fandom: Marvel, Norse myth
Appearance: very tall, long blonde hair, bearded more often than not. Very muscular. Armor with six discs, no sleeves/sleeves that he can call forth magically, vambraces and a flowing red cape.
Strengths: He can call forth lightning and Thunder (but not on Eden), and his hammer Mjolnir, forged from the heart of a dying star, is a formidable weapon. It is one of the strongest weapons in the Nine Realms and will always return to his hand if thrown, and it enables him to fly. Thor often chooses to fight with only a fraction of his power. He is very physically fit and strong as well, even without his lightning powers or Mjolnir he can put up a good fight.
Weaknesses: Thor's definately more brawn than brains but he is not stupid. However, he is gullible at times and, as he comes from a distant world, is not always familiar with slang and modern technologies. Thor's achilles heel, so to speak, would probably be that he is forgiving, a bit too much; he is very sentimental. He can be potentially outwitted.
History: Thor wakes up from a fitful sleep in what he believes is a dream, in the middle of a vast expanse of terrain he has never seen before. Everything is flat land that stretches as far the eye can see. And it is raining. Thor raises Mjolnir to the heavens, commanding it to stop, so he can get his bearings, but it pays him no heed, soaking him to the bone.
Personality: He is temperamental but has a very kind heart. He can be slightly bratty as he has been raised a prince all his life but he is also very noble/chivalrous.
Sample post:
"The Midgardians, though mortal and weak, are strong in spirit," Thor acknowledged. "It is true they think of us as gods.. however, the way you earn their allegiance is ...not through fear, Loki, or destruction of the realm. However, why you would seek out Midgard...? Did you think, by starting a war, you could best me? Did you really wish to rule? Loki, you are not fit to rule, as much as I was not fit to rule. You are rash, as I was. But I understand, now. I understand everything." He placed both hands on Loki's shoulders, and stared into the green of his eyes. "And I say you are safe." He was trying to convince himself of this as much as he was trying to convince Loki. The thought of a Leviathan army let loose on the realm eternal was not a pleasant one.
Anything else: Thor, as he is in Eden, is in possession of Mjolnir but finds himself unable to use his lightning/ control the weather.
