Note: Fauns and Centaurs usually have no use for riding animals. However, they are used for a number of other uses.
Hippogriffs
These very proud creatures have to first respect its rider. Usually before a rider seeks to mount, there is an elaborate ritual whereupon they both must bow to each other. The rider must first bow to the hippogriff and if the beast returns the gesture, then you have permission to ride. However, they can be bribed with their favorite treat of ferrets. They come in a number of different forms given the region. Their coloration also tends to vary.
Kilins
These bizarre mixtures of horse and dragon are known throughout Eden for their tempers. If you get on ones bad side, you have earned its ire for years. By chewing charstone, the creature can expel bursts of fire from its nostrils. As such, these are a favored war mount. Their teeth can break bones and they are carnivorous. A favorite treat of theirs is bone marrow so you will often see them gnawing on bones much like a dog.
Saurians
[Any number of possibilities.]
Any number of Saurians can be ridden and they will gladly offer their services if they can support a human's weight. The centaurs use the ceratopsian species for plowing fields and as pack animals. Often fitted with armor plates crafted by faun metal smiths. They can be a formidable sight. They tend to avoid the Nexxramus.
Fell Beasts - Nexxramus only
These distant cousins of dragons thrive in the frigid wilds of the Nexxramus. No where else are they found on Eden. Why this is is unknown. But they are all uniform in shape. Black coloration with long necks and whiplike tails. They have two legs and two wings. They cannot breathe fire but instead breathe the frigid air of their homelands, even in tropical lands. They are often fitted with armor over their skulls.
