A widespread legend about the lands of Eden tells of a Dreamwalker whose name is lost to history. His name isn't important as he has picked up a new moniker to be referred by that causes Eden's population to think twice about roaming after dark.
This Dreamwalker has been referred to as The Headless Horseman or The Headless Rider.
It all starts with the sound of his mount's hooves...
Your hair stands on end and a chill passes through you...
You know...
When you see this figure, he looks like any other horse and rider. But upon closer inspection, the rider has no head. He often carries a carved jack-o-lantern to symbolize his lost head.
But may the Pantheon help you if you ever cross paths with this one.
Legend says that this Dreamwalker made a deal with the dragon Death that he would continue on Eden after his passing. Rather then return to his own time. Death agreed and when the Dreamer died, Death took the Dreamer's head as a gift to his bride, Eurydice.
So the Horseman rides to haunt Eden forever...
He is especially active during the season of Autumn, when the nights start growing longer.
