Gifted by The Pantheon, each of these dragons has a season for which they are named. Each dragon in the Quartet has responsibilities and have a set time for which they may maintain their season.
Spring
Daughter of Life, Spring's duties is to melt the snow and make all of Life's creations new again. She's responsible for making the flowers blossom and to awaken all the hibernating creatures. She's the one that makes the trees bud. A mid spring festival is held in her honor.
Summer
Son of Fire, Summer's responsibilities include maintaining warm temperatures. Sometimes he gets carried away. He's the one maintaining the humidity and is playful when creating thunderstorms. He has to maintain the crops until ready to Harvest. A mid summer festival is held in his honor.
Autumn
Daughter of Air, Autumn's the one responsible for the Harvest, which her sister and brother have maintained until this point. She starts the temperatures dropping and the night's become longer. She paints the trees different colors. A harvest festival is held in her honor.
Winter
Son of Death, Winter causes snow to fall and temperatures become cold. He causes blizzards and snowstorms aplenty. Frost heralds Autumn's departure and Winter's arrival. When the nights are at their longest, a grand festival is held in his honor in the hopes he will allow Spring to return. So far, he is neutral on his Father's banishment
